Dr. Savage is a proud Tar Heel native, born and raised in Wilson, North Carolina. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduation, he joined Teach for America and began his career in education as a high school Spanish teacher in Memphis, Tennessee. It was there that he discovered a deep passion for working with children.

Following his two-year commitment with Teach for America, Dr. Savage continued teaching in Chicago, where he served students on the South Side as a high school chemistry and middle school math teacher. His experience in the classroom further solidified his dedication to supporting and empowering young people.

Driven by a desire to continue making a meaningful impact, Dr. Savage pursued a career in dentistry. He earned his dental degree from the University of Illinois Chicago and completed his pediatric dental residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Savage truly enjoys the fast-paced and rewarding nature of pediatric dentistry. He especially values the opportunity to create a fun and positive experience for his patients and their families each day.

Outside of the office, Dr. Savage enjoys traveling, shopping in downtown Chicago, and exploring the city’s vibrant and diverse food scene.

In his current role, Dr. Savage is committed to creating a welcoming, engaging environment where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered to build lifelong healthy habits—one smile at a time.
